We specialise in over 60’s fitness and injury rehab. If you are an older adult looking to boost your fitness, build muscle strength, or improve bone density and balance, then EMS training is a fantastic solution:
- As we get older it is important to work on muscle strength and bone density, as well as balance to help prevent falls and the chance of breaking bones. Elderly muscles are also more prone to injury as they get weaker.
EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation) is ideal for over 60s fitness goals as it builds strength in 90% of your major muscle groups without putting any strain on your joints.
- Combined with gentle, pilates style movements we are able to target your weaker muscles as well as any injured muscles and also work on improving balance.
- The EMS machine is set to the client’s strength and fitness levels so it is suitable for all ages and all abilities.
EMS also stimulates blood flow to help repair damaged muscles.
EMS has the added benefit of improving bone density, which is essential once we get over 50.
HOW DOES EMS WORK?
Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology has been used by physios and professional sports clubs for decades.
It is an ideal solution for the over 60s fitness, strength, balance and injury rehab goals, as it works by making your muscles contract using gentle electrical pulses, without putting any strain on your joints. This builds muscle strength in 90% of your major muscle groups in a safe, effective and targeted way. It also builds bone density and engages and strengthens lazy or injured muscles. Finally it stimulates blood flow to repair damaged muscles.
Fast Track EMS work with clients of all ages and fitness levels, but we have a large number of senior adults and over 60s as the training helps to improve fitness, balance and strength, without extreme or difficult movements or exercises.
As 90% of your muscles are engaged simultaneously, it means sessions are also only 20 minutes long and results are quick and rewarding.

“I highly recommend these sessions. After a hip replacement 2 years ago I have built so much strength and found muscles I never knew I had!”
“Fast Track EMS have been great to work with me to build core strength and to increase my balance and flexibility. Always upbeat and friendly and I do look forward to my weekly sessions.”
“If like me you: 1) sit down way too much, 2) dislike exercise, and 3) you’re not sure you actually sure you HAVE a core, please give EMS a try. It’s 20mins – you can do anything for 20mins – and you’ll feel the ‘benefit’ for days afterwards. I’ve discovered entire muscle groups I never knew I had. It works.”
“I have always struggled with lower back issues as a result of weak glutes and a lack of strength in my legs and this has made a significant difference – I already feel much stronger and know I am now engaging muscle groups more effectively.”
“My balance and energy are clearly showing improvements. I recommend a new challenge, thank you Fast Track EMS.”
“Having suffered with an ankle problem for many years, most forms of exercise including walking on bad days have been almost impossible but Fast Track EMS Fitness gives me the opportunity to workout without stressing my ankle.”
